Despues de 60 días de incubacion las tortuguitas salen del nido durante la noche o en la madrugada (aunque yo las ha visto entre las 2 y 6 de la tarde). Al nacer ellas son liberadas en la playa donde nacieron para que reconozcan el lugar en donde nacieron y puedan regresar cuando sean adultas. Es bello y una maravilla ver que el CEA (Centro ecologico de Akumal) quienes son los encargados esten en guardia todas las noches para tener la seguridad que esta maravilla de Dios sigan en existencia.
